Erica Soma is a young fitness entrepreneur and has been personal training and teaching in the Boston area for over seven years privately and with Boston Sports Club, Equinox, Healthworks, and other fitness studios. Erica works primarily with pre/postnatal clients and brings her years of expertise and unique background to create the most effective and safe workouts for your changing body and growing baby. She has completed specialized certifications in pre/postnatal specific to personal training and Stott Pilates, has published peer- reviewed research on the topic of exercise during pregnancy, and interned 200 hours with Isis Parenting including childbirth education. She is also currently studying to become a Registered Nurse with clinical experiences in maternity and pediatrics. Not only is Erica highly educated with both a BA and MS in Exercise Science, she brings her years of experience training other pre/postnatal clients. You’ll learn evidence- based safe and effective exercise while managing appropriate weight gain, build strength to help you through labor and new motherhood, and gain insight through Erica’s years of experience of working with women through multiple pregnancies.   

Erica also works with clients on goals including weight loss, injury prevention, and has experience working with scoliosis, diastasis recti, elderly fitness, and blind/visually impaired. She also designs programs for marathons, triathlons and other road races and has coached many Boston Marathon qualifiers.

Erica owns LYFE CYCLE, a spin and bootcamp studio in Roslindale and sees clients by appointment at Saldare. Not only is Erica a successful young business owner, she has completed nine marathons, a full 140.6 Ironman triathlon, and various shorter road and triathlon races. In addition to building strength in the gym, Erica rock climbs and golfs while also enjoying a donut or ice cream here and there!
