Laura York has been a group exercise instructor since 2001 and a personal trainer for over 10 years at several gyms in the Boston area, including Healthworks, Boston Sports Club, and Fitcorp. She holds certifications from AFFA in Group Exercise, Kickboxing, Step, and BOSU and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer. Laura has a Master’s Degree in Communications from Syracuse University and works full-time as the Manager of Prevention and Wellness at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Laura was also a nationally competitive figure skater and has run and qualified for the Boston Marathon. Her goals are to motivate clients with challenging yet fun workouts and promote the vital role fitness plays in leading a long, healthy, and energetic life.
